Hull FC Rugby League Football Club

Super League giants, Hull FC required a new web site to increase their professional image and deliver better value to their sponsors and partners.

Part of this new website would deliver a new range of content such as the club history, stats, latest news with pictures, full fixtures & results, tables, venue information, along with front page “quick-looks” that will allow the fan to quickly see those key segments of information. They also wanted to offer a web site to their fans that would be a central source for their rugby league appetite, allowing the fans to get all the latest Rugby League news in one place.

We delivered a website to match the brief where their sponsors now have more coverage and better value. The fans now have a central point for Rugby League news as we have fed Sky Sports Rugby League news into the site along with the main headline news prominently displayed on the left. New content such as the history archives deliver Hull FC’s rich history proudly along with their whole results archive from every season back to when the club was established in 1895.

The One Point Media also integrated all various Hull FC websites such as the official online club shop,which has since increased online sales by a handsome 50% in 2008, official mobile phones, official eBay shop and most recently, HULLFC.TV, a multi-media platform where The One Point film and produce highlights, features and interviews via the web. Navigation is always a key factor in any website and is no truer than with the Hull FC project. A new unique ‘filing system’ style menu was introduced allowing the users to navigate to any section or page in no more than a couple of clicks.

Since launching the new web site in March 2008, web traffic has tripled across all Hull FC websites.
